Other Health Effects

"There are documented biological effects of RF fields even at low, non-thermal exposure levels, below Safety Code 6 exposure limits.  These biological effects include alterations in the activity of the enzyme ornithine decarboxylase (ODC), in calcium regulation, and in the permeability of the blood-brain barrier.  Some of these biological effects brought about by non-thermal exposure levels of RF could potentially be associated with adverse health effects." Excerpted from page 3 of the Royal Society Report.

Published and peer-reviewed science gives evidence of the following health risks from exposure to wireless technologies:

Glioma, acoustic neuroma, meningioma, leukemia, DNA damage, chromosomal abnormalities, blood brain barrier leakage, calcium efflux, sperm head abnormalities, DNA and RNA oxidative damage in the mitochondria, reproductive abnormalities, Alzheimers, breast cancer risk, increase in primary malignancies, changes in corticosterone levels and immune system function.

Infertility rates rising for Canadian couples

More Canadians say they're having trouble conceiving, according to new research looking at infertility rates.

"Infertility is on the rise in Canada, according to the first study in nearly two decades to measure the proportion of Canadian couples who are having difficulty conceiving.

"The researchers didn't set out to discover why the numbers are increasing. But possible explanations range from the growing number of women who are pushing back pregnancy ever later in life, to rising rates of obesity and heavy drinking among women, to declining sperm counts in men -- though experts aren't convinced about that final factor.

"The use of assisted-procreation technologies has increased dramatically over the past decade, yet "little is known about the prevalence of infertility in the population," the authors write in the journal, Human Reproduction . . .

Women who are older are having more trouble conceiving, and infertility is on the rise even with younger females.  No one knows why.  For many, the studies point to environmental factors, since it affects both young and old.  Although a woman's eggs become less viable as she ages, it is also true that the cumulative EMF damage to the body increases with chronic exposure.  Male sperm is similarly affected.

While infertility is not a death sentence, infertility is likely a clear warning that human health is being compromised by something that is widespread. It is no wonder that, except for infectious diseases, almost every other category of chronic disease is rising as human immunity systems fail due to the chronic stress of EMF exposure.
