Wi-Fi Radiation Levels in Classrooms Exceed Levels Near Cell Towers

Kawartha Safe Technology Initiative (KSTI) Update on WiFi in Schools

"Kawartha Safe Technology Initiative (KSTI) provide an update on the issue and concerns surrounding Wi-Fi in their local schools.
 
"KSTI strongly opposed the planned implementation of Wi-Fi in schools since we first became aware of the plan in June 2010. Despite parental protests, and written warnings from medical experts, the KPR District School Board (KPR) forged ahead and installed Wi-Fi in all schools . . .  

A recent KSTI investigation has revealed that Wi-Fi radiation levels in many KPR classrooms exceed radiation levels recorded within 100m of large cell towers.This is very concerning due to the fact that numerous health studies indicate higher incidences of poor health in people who live within 400 m of a large cell tower . . ."
